Easter Raffle raises €1000 for BUMBLEance!

Staff and children of St. Patrick's make their donation.

We are delighted that St. Patrick’s Junior School pupils raised the fantastic sum of €1,000.00 from their Easter Raffle just before the Easter holidays. All this money was donated to BUMBLEance, the children’s national ambulance service. BUMBLEance provides stress-reducing journeys for children in state-of-the-art, safe and fun vehicles. BUMBLEance only carry sick children. While travelling in the BUMBLEance, children can watch a movie, play a game on the console, read a book or colour a picture. This makes the journey easier for the sick children who travel in the BUMBLEance.
Two parents/carers can travel in the BUMBLEance with the child & the paramedic. BUMBLEance were delighted to get our school’s donation and would like to thank everyone who bought tickets. Our pupils are delighted that the money they raised through the raffle has gone to such a good cause. Many thanks to the staff members who organised the raffle and sold tickets.
